Research on the Characteristics of High-Temperature Heat Waves and Outdoor Thermal Comfort: A Typical Space in Chongqing Yuzhong District as an Example

For the high-density urban space heat wave problem, take core area of mountainous city Chongqing as an example, four types typical functional spaces, including commercial areas, residential mountain parks, and riverfront were measured during a cycle, characteristics high-temperature waves in different spaces compared through analysis air temperature, surface relative humidity, solar thermal radiation, other environment parameters. Combined with questionnaire research related to comfort population, physiological equivalent temperature (PET) was selected describe sensation human body, summarize elements patterns influence on population establish prediction model outdoor summer. It shows that: (1) temperatures recorded are influenced by differentiated, older areas recording highest temperatures, followed green park comparing favorably both; (2) crowd is correlated formed elements, PET significantly positively radiation negatively have more has greater impact, while humidity relatively small impact; (3) reasonable spatial form shade planning, vegetation water body settings, high storage substrate design can alleviate waves, reduce neutral improve comfort. The results provide some basis for investigation formation mechanism cities optimal environment.
